Famous Family Ancestor

When Martha was young, her father and mother visited libraries and used book stores in every town they traveled. They liked to search for historic books on Commodore Robert Field Stockton, a famous family ancestor on her father’s side of the family.

In 1989, Martha offered to organize her father’s research. She had moved to Colorado with her husband and dog, and was not working or going to school for the very first time in her life.

She still remembers the day that Robert, or Bobby as she calls him, and his horse and buggy raced out of the control down Stockton Street in 1809 Princeton, New Jersey, and headed straight off the computer screen and into her life. The joy of that creative magic continues to thrill her today.

Martha looks forward to hearing from you!
